You’ve planned the birth.
But what’s your plan for the bleeding, the crying, the “wtf am I doing,” and the random aunties dropping by uninvited?

Let’s make sure YOU are supported too.

Welcome to Magical Beginnings, where your postpartum journey is as unique as you are

You want postpartum to feel sacred, soft, and rooted in culture—but let’s be honest...

  • You don’t want to follow 40 days of rigid rules

  • You don’t want your mom or MIL dictating your every move

  • You definitely don’t want to be crying on the floor wondering why no one told you what to expect

This isn’t your mama’s postpartum plan.
It’s YOURS!

Magical Beginnings gives you a custom 40-day plan that helps you rest, eat, and heal in a way that honors your cultural wisdom without losing your identity.

See, I've been in your shoes before. Well actually, I've been in them 4 times! But the first time was a whirlwind.  I am thankful that I had a support system. I still get nostalgia thinking of the fresh guacamole my favorite cousin made for me on my first day back from the hospital. Or the support I felt when my neighbor/postpartum doula offered to accompany us to our first pediatric appointment.  But there's also an overlying fog from my first postpartum experience -  I didn't know what to expect for recovery and, yes, I was up doing everything within 4 days! Nothing felt just right. And it wasn't until I had my second child that I could pinpoint what was actually wrong with my first experience

I didn't know ANYTHING!

And it took until becoming a doula and having my fourth child that I realized the importance of planning and finding myself and my own traditions.  Maybe it was because I was now an "older" mom or maybe I just didn't want it to go like before.  With my fourth child I had a lot of firsts - I took my full parental leave; I gave birth in a birthing center; I was vigilant about my postpartum mental health; and I took months off from the day-to-day to fully recover!
